Company Background:

Tellenger, Inc. is a business consulting firm that designs and develops custom web-based software apps. We do everything from complex, enterprise-level builds to traditional websites and even mobile technology. Our strength is connecting an organization’s business objectives with the right technology solution doing both the strategy and development. Founded in July 2007, we have multiple long-term government contracts as well as many private sector clients making for interesting and diverse work. An outcome of the quality of our work has resulted in the company doubling revenue every year since we started.

On a day-to-day basis you will… 1. Manage two government software development projects that are helping many people
2. Manage two web-based businesses we’re building that will (hopefully) transform industries
3. Report on project profitability, resource utilization, etc.
4. Assist with recruiting and hiring
5. Write sales proposals, white papers, and marketing docs
6. Assist with marketing of our products and services
7. Conduct technology research to facilitate sales
8. On short term projects, act as business analyst gathering project requirements
9. Maintain and enhance client relationships
10. Maintain and build revenue of your contract portfolio
11. Assist the CEO with a wide range of projects and tasks related to maintaining and growing the business

Requirements…

Experience managing software projects
This role involves a lot of writing, so strong writing skills are essential
Solid technical background for identifying solutions and enhancements for client projects
Has an entrepreneurial spirit
Possess basic web skills (i.e., can modify CSS and HTML pages)
Has done some formal requirements gathering and documentation
Good at documenting project progress, requirements, client discussions, change requests, etc.
Exceptional experience with client relationship management
Has a “can do!” attitude and enjoys the art of overcoming challenges
U.S. Citizen
